Welcome to the Centa Co!
Centa Co is an established, specialist day centre based in Chatham, Kent, supporting adults aged 18+ with learning disabilities and autism. Founded in 2009, Centa Co has built a strong local reputation for providing a safe, welcoming and engaging environment where adults can develop skills, confidence, friendships and independence.
The centre operates from a central Chatham location, close to local amenities and transport links, enabling meaningful community access and inclusion.
Our Approach
Centa Co provides person-centred, choice-led support, tailoring each day to the interests, strengths and needs of the individual. Rather than a one-size-fits-all model, clients are supported to take part in activities they genuinely enjoy, helping to promote wellbeing, motivation and personal growth.

Who We Support
Centa Co supports adults who:
Are aged 18 years and over
Have a learning disability, autism, or both
May require structured daytime support and social opportunities
Benefit from a consistent, familiar and supportive setting
Many clients attend through local authority funding, while private placements are also welcomed.
Activities & Facilities
The centre offers a wide range of structured and flexible activities, designed to support socialising development, life skills, creativity and enjoyment, including:
Arts, crafts and model making
Music, games and creative sessions
Digital activities, computers and gaming
Pool table, table tennis and indoor recreation
Relaxed social spaces and group activities
Life skills such as money handling and decision-making

Open Monday to Friday
Day sessions typically run from 10:00am to 4:30pm
Transport may be available by arrangement
New clients are usually offered trial / assessment sessions to ensure the service is the right fit
